I love the Robaux stuff, so when I saw another new module was coming from them, I was very excited. The 3PT, or Tripot is a 3 channel multimode CV generator, offering sequencer, LFO, random and Euclidean modes, among others.
The kit is very well documented and quick to put together.
I first built the main board and installed the ICs/microcontroller.
Then I put together the control board, including the 42 LEDs. The kit includes a 3D printed ring to separate the rings of LEDs.
I used yellow LEDs and customised the knob to go with the rest of my system. It’s really useful – I’ll be using it in my lunchbox case for now.
