As my voices have increased, I’ve found myself needing another envelope generator. I’m also starting to think about synthesising drums and looking for something really snappy. Maths does a great snappy envelope, but I don’t want to tie it into that role, so I’ve looked into DIY options and once again, found myself back at Frequency Central and the System X Envelope. As with the rest of the System X range, it’s modelled on the Roland System 100M equivalent and it’s billed as “the snappiest envelope in Euro”.
Really happy with how my soldering is coming on. At the start of this year, I’d never soldered anything, so I’m really pleased with results like these.
