As I have, yet again, outgrown my cases, I decided to build a single, portable case for the whole system. Taking 3 cases, two of which don’t have lids, out for gigs will be totally impractical, so I need a performance case.
I had a flight case custom made to fit 12U x 104hp and fitted 4 sets of rails. I set the rails 35mm down inside the case, so hopefully, I’ll be able to close it patched up.
I added two Mean Well RT-65B PSUs, power sockets and 4 Modular Synth Lab ripple noise rejection bus boards. I also mounted my spring tank inside the case.
Filled it up (with some blanks to fill the empty space for now), powered it up and it’s all good. Very happy. I also now have a bunch of empty cases, which is nice…
