Typhoon

I’ve wanted a second clouds for a while and Typhoon seemed to be the best of the bunch, so I grabbed the boards from Pusherman.

I populated the majority of the SMD parts – there’s a nice big STM32 to do and a lot of passives, but I did it over a couple sessions.

I had to wait a while for the 2164 chips to arrive, then I added those and the panel components .

The STM32 flashed first try and everything seems to be working well.

I had to drill out the holes for the LEDs as they were too small for my LEDs. I made a bit of a mess of the top ones, but whatever.

I also had to install a modified firmware as the TIME and BANK labels on the panel are the wrong way round! I’m running the superparasite firmware which has basically ALL the modes. It’s awesome.
