I built this to order, to the end user’s specification. It’s a really cute, version of Braids, from Jakplugg/Pusherman
It was a quick and easy build and I installed the Renaissance firmware (which I’d recommended- it really is the best firmware for Braids IMO).
Unfortunately, although I tested the unit thoroughly before sending it, it developed a fault in one of the screen segments, obviously a cold/dry joint on the screen segment – those little holes you have to solder through are tricksy as hell! I correctly diagnosed it remotely, but the user wasn’t comfortable fixing it, so I took it back in for repair and got it back to him the same day.
