I’ve been on a quest to perfect my live performance case for about a year now and I’ve finally arrived at a configuration I’m 100% happy with. I’ve done a couple of gigs with this system now and made minor changes after each, but I’m keeping it like this for now.
This gives me 6 synth voices, 6 drum voices, 16 channels of sample playback, 5 analogue filters, 4 distortions, 3 DSP units, spring reverb, digital reverb, digital delay, 24 channels of sequencing, 28 channels of mixing and full stereo with dynamics processing on the master out. Then, there’s plenty of modulation to keep everything moving – very important in a system this size as I simply wouldn’t have enough hands otherwise!

And, when I’m back in the studio, it forms the heart of a larger system, putting the most important modules in easy reach and integrating easily with my more sound design-oriented racks.
