For a while now, I’ve been using CARA (Marbles) to run my hi-hats. It’s cool, but I’ve been looking at Grids as an alternative. Since I love the Antumbra aesthetic, GRID seemed the obvious choice.
It’s not too bad a build – just a single PCB and the Atmel microcontrollers are easier to solder than STM32s.
Looks very smart and it’s certainly livened up my hi-hats. And my rimshots!
